Aloha Pos Setup How Is A POS (point Of Sale) Network Setup?

How is a POS (point of sale) network setup? - aloha pos setup

Please can someone help me understand better, the design of a network of hospitality POS envirorment typical. I know all the places, the terminals, peripherals and other devices like routers and switches have. I am very confused about the operation of the network. such as user permissions using Group Policy or as a typical network of Windows? Or is it the POS software to manage this situation? It uses the Windows 2003 Server? everything has a place Sever file? and if so, why? The POS system I'm looking forward to Aloha service is quick and table service, so that it will be all about Windows. If someone can help me or show me the website that can answer my questions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Im not sure, "Aloha," but with "PCCharge" put that in essence the server software on the server and client software on the computers that you want to have access to OT. I refer to the website of Aloha see what are the requirements .. My guess is that Windows 2000 is in order. Frankly, I do not know how the permissions, but I believe that everything in the software and not using Active Directory for all. (I believe), I had some questions about PCCharge and found a PDF manual online. In guessing you can do the same thing with Aloha. Hope this helps.
